Russia has boycotted the hearing of a case filed by Ukraine in the International Court of Justice, which has been criticized. In the lawsuit filed, the petitioner argued that Putin’s claim of genocide was based on a misinterpretation.

According to a foreign news agency, Ukraine criticized Russia’s absence from the International Court of Justice, saying that Russia was talking about empty seats. Russia’s military action was necessary to protect the people.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) held a two-day emergency hearing, but the Russian diplomat stated that his government did not intend to take part in the trial.

Ukraine, on the other hand, wants the court to immediately order Russia to suspend military action. Ukraine’s envoy Anton Kornievich said the court had a responsibility to take action. Russia must be stopped, and the court has a role to play.

Although countries generally abide by the decisions of the International Court of Justice, the courts do not have the resources to directly enforce their decisions.
