Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat has paid tribute to the brave members of the armed forces on account of the defence day of Pakistan.
Taking to her official Instagram account, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz recipient wrote a long note for the soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to protect the motherland.

Mehwish wrote,
“I salute all those brave members of our armed forces who gave the ultimate sacrifice in protecting our country.”
She went on to say,
“I Thank those that continue to put their lives on the line every day so we can sleep safely each night. We will owe you a debt of gratitude for generations to come! Pakistan Zindabad.”
However, some of the netizens belonging from the neighboring country tried to spread hate on the picture.
