Saudi Envoy discusses bilateral ties with PTI Senator Faisal Javed

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki held a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf PTI leader Senator Faisal Javed in the federal capital Islamabad on Friday and discussed bilateral relations.

They agreed to further promote cultural cooperation to further strengthen bilateral ties. It was agreed that Pakistani movies and dramas would be dubbed in Arabic for broadcast on the Saudi media.

Senator Faisal Javed said that cultural cooperation will further improve people to people contact between the two fraternal countries.

The Saudi Ambassador said the beautiful face of Pakistan should be highlighted at the international level for the development of the country’s tourism industry.

On Thursday while giving an interview to Al Jazeera TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan said:

Saudi Arabia would always be a friend of Pakistan despite the government’s recent criticism of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) over the Kashmir issue.

“Yes, we want OIC to play a bigger role in the Kashmir issue. But let me make it clear: Saudi Arabia will always be a friend of Pakistan,”

It should also be mentioned that Saudi envoy Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malki while meeting foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on September 2; said “Highlighting the excellent relationship between the leadership of the two countries, the ambassador underlined that the kingdom would continue to work with Pakistan for further strengthening of bilateral relations,”
