Netizens remember Junaid Jamshed on his 56th birthday

The late singer and preacher Junaid Jamshed is being remembered on his 56th birth anniversary across Pakistan on Thursday (today). Netizens paid tribute to the Vital Signs lead singer on social media. Jamshed was born on 3rd September 1964.

Before turning into a singer, Jamshed worked as a civilian contractor and engineer for Pakistan Air Force. After working briefly with PAF, Jamshed started his own music band “Vital Signs” which gained popularity after its famous national song “Dil Dil Pakistan” in 1987.


Some of the famous tracks sung by Jamshed are, Aitebaar, Hum Tum, Tumhara Aur Mera Naam, Us Raah Per, and Dil Ki Baat.

Taking to the social media platform, his fans around the globe paid homage to the late singer and prayed for his maghfirah.

It should be mentioned here that Junaid Jamshed was awarded by “Tamgha-e-Imtiaz” in 2007 by the government of Pakistan.

While on his way to Chitral, the world lost Junaid Jamshed in a horrible plane crash near Havelian on December 7th, 2016 with 47 passengers and crew members.
